Pod cast Repentance

Pod prep Repentance:

The real question: REPENT NOW OR LATER!

If one repents later then he is allowing his sinful unlawful conduct to harm his life and character longer.  The sooner we repent the less harm to self and family will be done by us.  Even if this is not the only opportunity for salvation (For example, if they were not really converted) they can still do more damage to their life and character now. It is much more beneficial to repent now to avoid the possibility of missing their chance later due to having their hearts too hardened by missing the window of opportunity? Who wants to go to the lake of fire?

So the sooner we all repent the better.   It is turn or burn!  Acts 2:38 says we all should repent and be baptized. Luke 13:3 states that we must repent turn from our evil ways or perish.

Note in Ps 119:1-2.  The blessing from obeying God’s laws is indisputable.  John 3:16-17 states that Christ came to help us.  Grace is about helping us repent and overcome sin.  See Roman 8:1-4.

I Thess 5:3-5 declare that we must watch end time prophecy, so as not to be caught off guard by the return of the Messiah like the world. Watching will help us to remain in a more repentant attitude as we see things crumbling around us. If we stay positive and keep praying (1 Thess 5: 16-19) we will not be engulfed by all the evil of the end time. If we don’t ultimately repent we will lose the Holy Spirit and lose our chance for eternal life.  We can aid repentance by listening to sermons seriously.  See vs. 20-21.
