Ark of the Covenant:
God had Moses put the sacred items like the 10 commandments Tablets, jar of manna and Aaron rod that budded Placed in this fabulous decorative box. The box was a model of Gods Throne. It had the Golden Cherubim’s atop of it. The Movie concept for the script of ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’ came from our Church leaders when HQ was in Pasadena Hollywood local. In I Sam 4:2-4 the Israelites thought they could alter their fortunes in war by unlawfully using the Ark to go before the troops. The troops got excited as if it were a magic symbol. But God cannot be manipulated into giving them victory when they were a backsliding sinful nation led by sinful leaders. They had a great defeat. See the rest of the chapter.
We should discuss the first lost war and curses on the Philistines who took the Ark.
America had never lost a war even when in the early days they faced a super power British Empire in two wars. Clearly America had been blessed in the past. In the late 1960 thru and 1970’s America kicked prayer out of the schools, legalized abortion and plunged into the sexual revolution. Academia, government and the media and Hollywood turned against a Bible revealed God, religion and traditional values. America lost its first war, the Vietnam War. Is that a coincidence?
God did not need Israelite victory to take care of the Ark. God plagued the Philllistines until they sent it back to Israel. See I Sam 5:8-10.

Read Hebrews 4:14-16 AND 8:1-and 9:1-6. TELL US THAT WE CAN NOW GO DIRECTLY TO GOD REAL THRONE. We do not have to go through a human priest to a model of the throne but thanks to Christ sacrifice we can go in prayer directly to God. It is available 24/7 not just on Atonement.
We could speculate on what might happen if they dig it up?
Is the Ark still hidden in the sacred mount in Jerusalem somewhere in that mountain below the Dome of the Rock? What will the Jews do if they find it? Will they feel pressure to build a third Temple around it? II Thess 2:3-4 shows the future Beast being crowned God in the Temple. Will he sit on the Holy Seat or Throne?
