Prophecies Fulfilled already and Future fulfillment patterns for us to watch.
What were some of the prophecies Jesus fulfilled in his life? Let’s notice some of them that were given centuries in advance as well as their accuracy and reliability.
1. Christ was predicted to be born of a virgin, Isa 7:14. This verse was quoted in Matt 1:23.
2. A descendant of Jesse would come and bring in a Kingdom of Peace and Paradise Isa Ch. 11.
3. He would be a descendant of King David Isaiah 11:1, Matthew 1:1-6 and would be born in the City of
David, Bethlehem Micah 5:2.
4. One would precede Him who would announce His coming Isaiah 40:3-6.
5. His own people would reject Him Isaiah 53:1-3.
6. A friend would betray Him (Psalms 41:9
7. The price for His betrayal would be 30 pieces of silver Zechariah11:12.
8. The 30 pieces of silver would buy a potter’s field Zechariah 11:13.
9. Wicked people would pierce His hands and feet Psalms 22:16.
10. He would suffer execution but without the breaking of any of His bones Psalms 34:20.
11. He would be buried with the wealthy Isaiah 53:9.
12. Others would cast lots for His garments Psalms 22:18.
Many prophecies regarding Jesus Christ are yet to be fulfilled. Most are related to His second coming as covered in Revelations Ch. 19 including the crushing of grapes (evil empires) in the fierce anger of His winepress.
FUTURE AREAS TO WATCH FOR INCLUDE THESE HUGE EVENTS THAT ARE JUST AS SURE AND RELIABLE AS THE PROPHESIES ABOUT CHRIST FIRST COMING THAT ARE ALREADY FULFILLED.
1. Who is the Beast or King of the North who will rise with the reborn Holy Roman Empire? Dan 11:36-44.
2. Is the rise of the King of the South, a caliphate led by a caliph in the Middle East being attempted now?
3. Look for Two Witnesses coming on the scene who preach the truth to the world like a thorn in its side. Rev 11:2-7.
4. Is the preaching of the Gospel to the entire world either before or in conjunction with the Two Witnesses coming soon? Matt 24:14.
5. Look for an economic collapse that will drive panicked Europe into the arms of an evil dictator.
6. Look for the building of the Third Temple in Jerusalem on the sacred site and its desecration by the Beast. II Thess 2:3-4.
7. Look for the Mark of the Beast as some sort of economic control over those who defy worshipping the Beast. Are credit card chips a possible mechanism for control? Rev 13:16-17.
8. Look for the protective sign of God on the true believers during the end time plagues of God. Rev 9:4.
