THE TWO MAJOR BEASTS OF THE BOOK OF REVELATION OF THE ENDTIME (POLITICAL LEADER)
Revelation Ch. 13 reveals first a political beast of a man who rules a vast empire and rises from the sea. The ten horns represent ten kings or rulers who combined their powers behind or in support of one man, the beast. The characteristics of this beast are in the reverse order as in the Book of Daniel. Revelation is seeing the beast- like characteristics as from the past whereas Daniel saw them as looking into the future. This empire will have the speed of the leopard, the claws of the bear and the jaws of a lion. Daniel saw the four world ruling gentile empires as one gigantic statue. Babylon’s pagan system infected all four empires.
Who are the ten kings? Remember that some kingdoms can include more than one nation.
1. Likely iron five toed monarchs or ( Kaisers) are:
a. Germany
b. Austro- Hungarian
c. Netherlands
d. Belgium/ France
e. Switzerland or Luxemburg or Poland or Ukraine
2. Likely clay five toed monarchs are:
a. Portugal
b. Spain
c. Italy
d. Greece
e. Macedonia or Bulgaria or Romania
The evil king will be beast like in his character, a real predator. He will appear to be healed of a fatal attack and get worldwide fame. He will speak blasphemous words against God and His Word and His people. This evil king is powered by the devil. God will allow him 42 months of total power before he is smashed like a grape. All the world will worship him and be willingly deceived except those who are being saved by loving the truth. See Rev 13:1-10.
THE TWO MAJOR BEASTS OF THE BOOK OF REVELATION OF THE ENDTIME (RELIGIOUS LEADER)
John saw another beast rise from the land with two horns like a lamb. A beast that is religious and promotes a false Christ, but speaks like a dragon. He is the false prophet and is doing Satan’s work. Satan empowers this beast to get the world to worship the first beast and to receive the mark of the beast. Satan will allow him to amaze the world with miracles like Elijah, who called down fire from heaven. There is a two pope theory, that one will be evil and the other, normal. The evil pope prevails and becomes this second beast. However he emerges, he is coming.
Watch magazine featured Kaiser Wilhelm’s grandson as a person to watch politically. One thing that is abundantly clear is that Europe is in desperate need of a strong leader. None of the present leaders seem to be wise or adequate. Many of the rulers of the Holy Roman Empire came from Germany. Hitler and Mussolini called the twelve year (Reich) empire the rebirth of the Holy Roman Empire.
REVELATION SEVENTEEN STARTS THE FINAL OUTCOME OF THE TWO BEASTS
REVELATION 17:5 reveals the true nature of their religious unity. It is basically the same old Babylon the Great. The ancient God rejecting system of Babylon is alive and well in the universal church. Verses 11-13 indicate that this evil empire will be united in mind and spirit, no doubt by the devil. The church leader historically has power over the empire. The church rides the empire as a symbolic whore. Idolatry is spiritual adultery to God. (He is married to Israel.) This creates some level of rivalry for power between the two beasts. See verses 15-16. The political beast will attack and destroy the universal church. God will make this happen as part of His judgement. See Rev 17:17. Finally God will destroy this empire. Those of us that are saved will be with the Messiah as He rescues the world from evil by the force of His Power.
