ANTI-SEMITISM AND RISE OF EVIL
We can proclaim two clear themes.
One God CLEARLY loves Israel including Judah. They are special to God.
Two Satan hates Israel and especially the Jews who preserved most of God’s word.
Remember Christ came the first time to die for the sins of all mankind therefore God allowed the Leaders of Judah to NOT believe. CHRIST WAS VERY POPULAR WITH THE JEWISH PEOPLE. See Luke 22:2 ,John 6:15 and Acts 2:23. Hatred of the Jews is like a mine's canaries. It warns of poison gases in the mine. hatred of the Jews is also warning od increase in evil. If some other nation was the covenant people God would have been critical of them also. Ro 2:17-20, Ro 3:1-3.
We Christian are told to pray for Jerusalem and the Jews. Ps 122:6. God loves Judah as Paul expects. See Romans 11:1, 17-26. We need to love Judah and not feel more righteous. Jeremiah 24:5-7 and God will bless them in the near future. Jer 32:39-40. See Deut 30:6.
Those that hate Israel or Jews are cursed, look what happened to Germany in WWII. Even though God was critical of Israel he still loved them. Deut 7:7-8. Balaam was forced to bless Israel even during latter part of their desert wandering punishment. God is critical of Israel because he is working with them.
John's letter is talking about the leadership not most Jews. Christ and all the apostles including John were Jewish.
