The Greatest Signal Event in History: The Last Trumpet Blast

THE LAST TRUMPET BLAST SIGNALS THE BIRTH OF MAN INTO THE GOD FAMILY

God said that he made man in his image in HIS likeness. It is undoubtedly true that man was made for ruler ship like God himself. God told Adam and Eve to dominate the earth. However Satan lured them into rebellion and they lost paradise. The last trumpet blast pictured by the Feast of Trumpets is the signal for man's regaining paradise lost and more. The Feast of Trumpets is a trigger for our new existence in God's Kingdom. We must remember the deep significance of this Holy Day. Most of the world will scoff at the idea of Christ returning. The events will be so overwhelming that none can ignore them. Awesome signs and wonders in the heavens will accompany Christ return. True believers will rule the world under the leadership of the conquering Messiah Jesus at his second coming. The last trumpet blast is the signal for the Messiah's coming to save the world and elevate believers.

Rev 5:9 And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."
(NKJV)
Through grace, God has a magnificent reward for mankind. The reward is given when the signal of the the last trumpet is sounded. Christ will then leading a heavenly army replace evil governments with the Kingdom of God. This is the part of God's plan represented by the Feast of Trumpets. The coming of a new year and a new righteous age based on Jesus victory at his return to earth is this Holy Day.

TRUMPET BLASTS WERE A SIGNAL OF COMMANDS AND HUGE GODLY EVENTS

When Israel was going to war or being invaded, they blew the trumpet blast. It could be heard for great distances. The millions of Israelite knew the various signals and what they meant.

Nu 31:6 Then Moses sent them to the war, one thousand from each tribe; he sent them to the war with Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, with the holy articles and the signal trumpets in his hand.
(NKJV)

When the Israelite's entered the promised land, God had them walk around Jericho seven days. On the the seventh trumpet blast they all shouted and celebrated the fall of the city walls. This portion of the conquest of the promised land is like a model of the seven trumpet blasts of the Book of Revelations.

Jos 6:16 And the seventh time it happened, when the priests blew the trumpets, that Joshua said to the people: "Shout, for the LORD has given you the city!
20 So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people

went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

The blast of trumpets and the Feast of Trumpets are related to entering a new world of blessings and the conquest of evil by Christ. This holy day, a trumpet call is a signal of wonderful things to come.

THE LAST TRUMPET BLAST WILL SIGNAL A NEW AGE OF GOODNESS

This Holy Day is known as the “ aNew Civil Year” Rosh Hashanah. The new year is marked with a celebration of the creation of a new world, a new age. God will resurrect the saints at the last blast of the trumpet that signals the return of Jesus. We will be born again an receive our reward.

1Th 4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

The last trumpet blast will signal the end of this, Satan's age. Jesus said that Satan was the ruler of this world but Christ will rule the new age to come. If we are repentant and are faithful we will help.

1Co 15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed--
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

The Feast of Trumpets is symbolic of the victory of Jesus at his second coming. The world will finally have Godly leadership and God's blessings.

Mt 24:22 "And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened.

Christ second coming as king of kings will come just in time to prevent mankind from poisoning and destroying the planet. His second coming will be accompanied by heavenly signs and the sound of the last trumpet blast.

Mt 24:30 "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 "And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Jesus second coming will save the world especially for his true followers spiritual Israel. Evil governments cannot be ended without force. The trumpet blast will sound the arrival of the power of God to end this evil age. An angel will blow the trumpet and announce the coming of our true king Jesus the Messiah. The Book of Revelations has seven angels blowing seven trumpets.

Rev 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!" 17 saying: "We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.

The victory belongs to Jesus Christ and his followers. We need to remember this, every Feast of Trumpets. It is symbolic of the victory of good over evil. The world is waiting on this great day of triumph, the resurrection of the saints and cleansing of this world.

Rom 8:21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. 24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?

The world's only hope is the second coming of Jesus Christ to usher in a new age a new beginning.

Rev 19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.

WHY TRUE CHRISTIANS SHOULD KEEP TRUMPETS AND STAY ALERT

We true believers need to celebrate this event that will trigger our birth into God's family. Wow! Every year we need to be motivated by the coming of our hero to rescue mankind. It gives believers something to live for and if need be, suffer for now. After Paul told the brethren to be comforted knowing we all will be reunited at the last trump, he encouraged them to stay alert and watch events.

1Th 5:4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.
8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.
9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Paul tells us all to emphasize three spiritual bulwarks, faith and love and hope. It is hope in our future. A future that is based on listening for the wonderful signal, the last trumpet blast. The Feast of Trumpets will remind us of our bright future.

Rom 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
17 and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
