Do You Want To Be A Real Super Hero? Then Be A Follower Of The True God!
SUPER HEROES AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD
Our reward as true believers of Jesus is to become members of his family, Members of the Kingdom of God. While some know this doctrine they do not comprehend the awesomeness of this reward. The Apostle Paul, author of most of the New Testament, knew that our reward is so glorious that it is beyond our wildest dreams.
1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV 9 But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
The world has no idea what wonderful things God has for those who love him and learn with God's help, to be more like Christ. Those of us who are the true believers of Jesus can know these deeper truths.
1 Corinthians 2:10 NKJV 10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
God will help us true believers to comprehend that our reward will make us real super heroes with even greater powers. We will be joint heirs with Jesus. Wow! Believers when changed at the second coming of the Messiah, will have powers we can not even imagine. Powers that pale into insufficiency, all the super heroes of Hollywood fame.
Romans 8:16-17 NKJV 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
Can our small minds comprehend what it means to be glorified? We will be able to look God in the eye because we will be like him. Moses the greatest prophet, could not even look upon God's face, but in the future we can.
1 John 3:1-2 NKJV 1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
How glorious is the God family? It does not yet include the future sons of God.
1 Timothy 6:15-16 NKJV 15 which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.
No Hollywood super heroes can shine with unapproachable light. But the God family does. God can turn down the glow and appear in whatever form he wants. God talked with Abraham in normal light and when he appeared as himself to Moses in his glory with a protective cloud Moses glowed for awhile. What power and glory! No Hollywood super heroes shines that bright, not one of these imagined heroes lives in his natural state in unapproachable light.
Daniel 12:3 NKJV 3 Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.
NOTHING CAN BE COMPARED TO THE GLORY THAT WILL BE REVEALED IN US
Paul writes that the glory that is to be revealed in the true believers, in the future, is beyond comparison to anything we know. Our suffering is nothing by comparison to the glorious rewards of the saved. Our reward is to be immortal. We will live forever. Some Hollywood super heroes die.
1 Corinthians 15:52-53 NKJV 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
We will be bullet proof. No weapons can harm us. Unlike Superman, we will not have to fear cryptonite. No super villain can end our lives. Believers will be raised by Jesus, incorruptible, indestructible. Wow!
1 Corinthians 15:54-57 NKJV 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." 55 "O Death, where is your sting? ... 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
What will it feel like to put on immortality. We will live forever. No power will ever be able to destroy us. We will be higher and stronger than any super heroes. All our worries and pains gone, if we endure to the end with Jesus. So why does God put us through so much suffering and pains and test now?
GOD IS PREPARING US TO BE TRUSTED FOR ALL ETERNITY WITH AWESOME POWER
Giving future spirit beings power and immortality should only be done for those that have humbled themselves and demonstrated that they can be trusted. We are not robots or animals run on instinct alone. We are free moral agents. God must teach us to be obedient and trustworthy now. Satan was once a very powerful spirit being with free moral agency. He could not be trusted as he led a rebellion against God.
Isaiah 14:12-15 NKJV 12 "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! 13 For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.' 15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.
God will not allow another spirit being to be empowered and go astray. Believers will have more power than Lucifer so it is even more important for God to teach and test us in this age to be humble and obedient. The vanity and type of iniquity found in Satan must be purged from us before our resurrection to glory. Why? because the power we will receive is so great. We will be above all the angels. We have a fabulous great salvation ahead of us.
Hebrews 2:3-5 NKJV 3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, 4 God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will? 5 For He has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels.
The world to come will be put under the rule of the new sons of God under Christ leadership of course as the Elder brother. Paul also said that believer would judge angels in the world tomorrow. Also note I Cor.6:3. Our reward is so great Paul said it is a shame if it is wasted because we do not appreciate the value of being real super heroes of the God family.
REAL SUPER HEROES NEED GODLY LOVE
We need to have complete trust in God and Godly love, agape love to be true super heroes. Service to mankind with Godly leadership and power is the wonderful future of this planet.
1 Corinthians 13:2-6 NKJV 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
What the world needs is power used in love. Before we are given the power, we need love. Hollywood scripts include extreme violence and environmentalism which encourages the murder of half the population for the sake of the planet. Woe! Instead, genuinely decent individuals will be our heroes. The saying is that with great power comes great responsibility. Believers will be changed into real loving responsible heroes.
Revelation 5:9-10 NKJV 9 And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."
The world needs loving good rulers. Believers under Jesus will supply that leadership and turn this chaotic world into a paradise. A paradise where super heroes rule in the name of the true God. Our goal now is to work with God to be ready for such power. We are learning to be repentant like David.
Psalms 51:2-10 NKJV 2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me. 4 Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight-That You may be found just when You speak, And blameless when You judge... 9 Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
We will be born again this time as spiritual beings with super powers. We will be able to defy the laws of physics and gravity.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 NKJV 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
We will fly or rise off the ground and meet Jesus in the air and will be flying whenever we wish for all eternity. Jesus of Nazareth the real super hero is coming soon with others to bring paradise. Happy days are coming to planet earth.
