THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS SOUNDS THE BEGINNING OF SALVATION FOR ALL NATIONS
What event is the world really anxiously awaiting? It is the Messiah coming in power to save the nations. Our celebration of this Holy Day is looking forward to this moment in mankind's history. When Jesus, the Messiah, returns at the Last Trump, mentioned in the book Revelation, righteousness will prevail. Evil will be crushed like grapes. The Feast of Trumpets is that Holy Day of God.
Revelation 19:11-16 NKJV 11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war... 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
The first time the Messiah (Christ) came was to sacrifice himself to cover the sins of all mankind, past present and future. When Jesus comes the second time it will be to save us from ourselves. Jesus will save mankind from bad governments, evil, misguided, religious and political leaders.
Hebrews 2:8-9 NKJV 8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet." For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. 9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.
Jesus died for everyone. He has paid the price so he can be our compassionate High Priest. Soon at his second coming, the world will start to fully understand the wonderful sacrifice God has made for all of us. Jesus is going to war, this time at the sound of the trumpets, to conquer and rule wayward, mankind. Jesus will dispense grace and judgment as one who now fully knows what it is like to be a human being.
Hebrews 5:2-9 NKJV 2 He can have compassion on those who are ignorant and going astray, since he himself is also subject to weakness... 7 who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear, 8 though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. 9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,
Jesus will soon return and start to fully administer his work as our King, Messiah and High Priest to start the salvation of all nations. The sound of the Trumpet is the sound of salvation. Those in the first resurrection, who are being converted now, are waiting for that Last Trumpet Call.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 NKJV 13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus... 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
OUR WORLD DESPERATELY NEEDS GOOD GOVERNMENT
Planet earth desperately needs godly government, godly religion. Decadence is clearly growing in the world today. Child sex trafficking, evil addictions and brutal governments are thriving in this, Satan's age. This is the age of mans' defiance of God and is reaping the evil rewards. Young men are becoming more and more unstable. Extreme socialist regimes like Communism, murdered, over a 100 million of their own citizens, yet the concepts are still embraced by many leaders today, not to mention all kinds of other evils still present. This age of Satan has been led by various degrees of evil governments. All that will end at the Last Trumpet.
Daniel 2:44-45 NKJV 44 "And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. 45 "Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold-the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure."
The stone or rock that will replace mankind's misguided governments with paradise is Jesus, at his second coming. The world will have all the expense of warfare ended. Blessing and prosperity will rain down on earth by the blessings of God and the leadership of Jesus and his saints.
Micah 4:2-4 NKJV 2 Many nations shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion the law shall go forth, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 3 He shall judge between many peoples, And rebuke strong nations afar off; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war any more.
Jesus is returning; this time as a conquering king to bring true worship and godly ruler ship. The saints will be resurrected at the Last Trump to be part of the ruling God family.
Revelation 5:10 NKJV 10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."
The earth is waiting for good government that will replenish and serve the people and the planet.
Romans 8:19-21 NKJV 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
True believers will be resurrected at the last trumpet sound to glory and true son ship with God.
JOSHUA WAS A TYPE OF THE FUTURE CONQUERING JESUS CHRIST
The word 'Jesus' in the Greek language is the name 'Joshua' in the Hebrew language. The name Joshua means salvation. Joshua's conquest of the promised land, Canaan is a type of Jesus Christ conquering and bringing the promised land to everyone.
Joshua 6:16 NKJV 16 And the seventh time it happened, when the priests blew the trumpets, that Joshua said to the people: "Shout, for the LORD has given you the city!
Joshua followed God's instruction and circled the first big city seven times blowing the trumpets each time. The people were totally silent until the final trumpet blast. During the seventh day the seventh trumpet sounded and the people all then shouted and the wall came down.
Joshua 6:20 NKJV 20 So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and when the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
The Book Revelation also reveals silence; then the trumpets blown, before Jesus returns to conquer this world.
Revelation 8:1-2 NKJV 1 When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.
Jesus will lead the world into good government. Righteousness will prevail because at the last trump, God will reign on earth. Our current world is not God's society. God will do abundantly and wonderfully better then what we see now even if you are fortunate enough to live in a very blessed nation.
Revelation 11:15-17 NKJV 15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"... 17 saying: "We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.
CONCLUSION
We must all remain in the faith and prepared because we do not know when those last trumpets will sound. I think it is a failed strategy to say I will enjoy the popularity of this world until I see the end time events and then come back to God.
Mark 13:33-37 NKJV 33 "Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. 34 ... and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. 35 "Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming--in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning-- 36 "lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. 37 "And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!"
Please keep resisting our sinful natures and remain in the grace of Jesus until the last trumpet sounds.
