Has Modern Science Disproved Evolution - Supporting Intelligent Design?
DOES THE CELLULAR INFORMATION SUPPORT THE CREATION NARRATIVE?
One of the the newest and most revealing scientific discoveries is the value of information input into all living cells. This includes both plants and animals. Every single cell in the body of any animal contains vast amounts of crucial data. This includes so called one cell simple animals. Darwin when faced with the obvious designs in nature tried to account for them by natural selection. Survival of the fittest approach WAS USED. But this cannot explain the striking differences and specificity in species. Minor improvements and adaptations cannot explain these facts. What we now know is that digitally encoded information within cell's directs all the proteins. Each species is unique in the DNA coding. All this was unknown to Darwin. However; it fits the Bible's description of species separation.
Genesis 1:11-13 NKJV 11 Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, .... 12 And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree ….according to its kind. And God saw that it was good....
The True God was pleased with his biological design and programming genius.
Genesis 1:24 NKJV 24 Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth,..
The uniqueness in life is in the DNA sequences or programming and the structural information. The chances of this complex data appearing by blind chance is statistically impossible. One example are the instructions for amino acids, happening by chance. They are 20 to the 150th power. Wow! Blind chance cannot possibly do this. It was programmed by genius that is beyond what can be done by man. It is one of a number of statistics that demolish the theory of evolution. Bill Gates marveled at information processing and utilization seen in cell information. This explosion of information is evidence of intelligent design. It would be hard to deny.
THOSE LOOKING FOR FLAWS IN THE DESIGN THEORY HAVE MOTIVES
We look at a few of the arguments against intelligent design and the motives of those who do not wish for a Divine being to exist. One is the family tree programs. These programs say they can see an overall family for all life springing from one cell in a swamp billions of years ago. They put the different species in the program and the computer sees an overall family tree. However; other scientists who investigate more closely find three problems with this program. One is the computer's algorithms are programmed to find some family tree. When they put more specific molecular information in the same program they get conflicting family trees from the various molecules of the same species. Secondly the closer molecular analysis of different trees reveal an intelligent, unique designer. Thirdly a closer look at the genes prove a designer. Some scientists in the past would look at orphan genes as proof of no designer. However as science advances, they are finding functions for these so called orphan genes.
2 Peter 3:3-4 NKJV 3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation."
Why is all this new information not canceling the teaching of evolution? Those who do not want any Deity and therefore moral laws to exist are in control of academia. They have evil desires and the admission of Intelligent Design is a stumbling block to them. They have written that no matter what the data reveals they will not even consider a designer. Some have admitted that they cannot explain the origins or the existence of complex information inside of living cells. Some speculate that aliens brought it to earth. How did the aliens get it? It is simply a method of avoiding the issue and kicking the can down the road.
FREE AND OPEN THINKING IS VERBOTEN
The very mention of intelligent design makes the elites of academia angry. This visceral reaction is a tel that they cannot refute the evidence of information input but will not allow for Deity. Why get angry if the data is on their side. Academic freedom is a victim of current scientific thinking. Free speech and a lot of truth is not allowed on most campuses.
Isaiah 59:13-14 NKJV 13 In transgressing and lying against the LORD, And departing from our God, Speaking oppression and revolt, Conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. 14 Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands afar off; For truth is fallen in the street, And equity cannot enter.
Thinkers who question the orthodoxy of evolution are not treaty fairly. Any logical person would accept the facts that the existence of vast and complex information in every living cell is proof of an intelligent designer. Science does not lie but scientists are biased to see what they want to see. Science does not lie but human scientists do lie. True science is always searching for more truth and questioning. If something is truly, totally accepted that fact does not need defending because no one is questioning it. But when new evidence overwhelms the theory of evolution or other orthodoxy positions they attack and scream the science is settled. If it truly is settled then why push back so hard? Truth is not valued in academia and among our elites.
Hosea 4:6 NKJV 6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priests for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
God is warning his people about rejecting core knowledge about life's right and wrong. This also would include recognizing the overwhelming knowledge of the existence of a fabulously intelligent Creator. If there is no God then morality and even the meaning of life is undermined. Much of the western world has no faith inspite of the evidence, and is in moral decay and decadence and becoming weaker.
Genesis 1:27-28 NKJV 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
The earth and it's environs are all created for mankind. We humans are the reason for the creation of this planet in its present form. God has asked mankind to take care of the earth and to dominate it. The planet is here to serve mankind not mankind here to serve the planet. This misunderstanding has led to treating 'mother nature' the way pagans who feared the natural world reacted. Often our so called advanced governments are putting the interest of animals ahead of the interest of people. This includes aborting babies in the name of serving the planet in a misguided attempt at population control. Fetuses are human beings and inutero are alive and fabulously made.
Psalms 139:13-15 NKJV 13 For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. 14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Science now knows that life is composed of three aspects, matter, energy and information. Information is the most wonderful and fabulous of the three. Every cell in every animal has protein factories forming complex molecules that make that cell function as designed. The controls for this factory were programmed by a Genius. Animals do all kinds of fabulous activities because the traits both mental and physical are programmed into them as given by their parents coding. It is an awesome system. Those of us who learn to appreciate the wonders of nature learn also how to feel the greatness of God. We learn how to appreciate it and realize that we are destined to be part of God's family. Wow!
Hebrews 2:3-8 NKJV 3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, ... 5 For He has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels. 6 But one testified in a certain place, saying: "What is man that You are mindful of him, Or the son of man that You take care of him?
The Apostle Paul is quoting King David who looked at the vastness and greatness of God's creation including the universe and asked why would a God of such power care about us. Why?
7 You have made him a little lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor, And set him over the works of Your hands. 8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet." For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him.
Paul says we do see God's plan to save mankind and give him eternal life free. Paid for by Jesus.
Hebrews 2:9-12 NKJV 9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. 10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.... I will sing praise to You."
Paul is praising God and encouraging believers to remain faithful and not lose so great a salvation.
