A CRUCIAL KEY TO PROPHETIC INSIGHT IS THE IDENTITY OF AMERICA
Israel, including the northern ten tribes known as Israel as well as the southern division of Israel are mentioned and warned in end of the age prophesy. Both groups of people exist at the end times. God was so displeased with Solomon that he divided Israel into two houses. Note the reunification of both houses of Israel at the end of the age. See our previous programs on the identity of America.
Ezekiel 37:16-19 NKJV 16 "As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: 'For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.' Then take another stick and write on it, and 'For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, ....' 17 "Then join them one to another ..., 19 "say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Surely I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand ... and the tribes of Israel, ...; and I will join them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick,
This end-time prophesy uniting all Israel presumes that the northern ten tribes known as Israel must also exist like Judah exists. What nations who have the blessings will repent at the end-time? Who else could it be but Britain and America?
Jeremiah 50:2-4 NKJV 2 "Declare among the nations,...-Say, 'Babylon is taken, ... 4 "In those days and in that time," says the LORD, "The children of Israel shall come, They and the children of Judah together; With continual weeping they shall come, And seek the LORD their God.
This end times prophesy has not yet fully taken place. The Israelite nations will all repent after the full fall of Babylon and the second coming of Jesus. Prophetic messages are given for a purpose which is to get man to repent. The Jews will mourn the one they pierced and America will then repent as well.
GOD HAS A PURPOSE FOR PROPHETIC MESSAGES
The clear reason for prophesies is to warn people to alter their ways before calamity is allowed to strike them. There are negative consequences of evil,sinful life styles as well as the danger of separation from the true God. God sends various warnings to nations. Many prophecies are dual. They had an earlier partial fulfillment and at the end of the age a more disastrous total fulfillment. Note the prophesy of Joel mentioned by Peter (Acts 2:16-21). God will allow America and Judah to fall from power if they continue in an ungodly direction. What is the basic warning message to Israel in our day as well as in the past?
2 Chronicles 7:13-15 NKJV 13 "When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 15 "Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.
Prophetic warnings are not given for curiosity or voyeurism regarding the scary events at the end of the age. No, they are given to encourage repentance before it is too late. A clear,small example of this is Nineveh. They were warned to repent or they would be wiped out as a city and they did repent and avoided the disaster. Read the book of Jonah. Just before the end of the age a large number will repent and are saved and spared the plagues of God.
Revelation 7:3-4 NKJV 3 saying, "Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads." 4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:
Note that all the tribes are mentioned including the lost ten tribes of Israel. So they must exist at the end with the exception of Dan. Possibly, Dan as a group, are so badly influenced by the evil worldly powers that very few repent.
GOD WILL CURSE NATIONS GOING IN AN EVIL DIRECTION AS A WARNING
One curse is to let the nation make horrible decisions. This includes Ahab and Jezebel who were just such leaders. Note the shocking manner in which that king met disaster.
2 Chronicles 18:18-22 NKJV 18 Then Micaiah said, ... I saw the LORD sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven standing on His right hand and His left. 19 "And the LORD said, 'Who will persuade Ahab king of Israel to go up, that he may fall at Ramoth Gilead?' .... 20 "Then a spirit came forward ...?' 21 "So he said, 'I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets...., and the LORD has declared disaster against you."
God had allowed lying spirits influencing Ahab's advisers to lead him to make disastrous decisions. One could ask 'Is God now allowing America to make disastrous political and military decisions based on lying pundits of all sorts'? This should include media pundits and others. Why? Because the country is going on an ungodly, wicked track. God allowed the seductive influences to lead Israel astray in the past.
Before Judah's horrible siege and captivity of 586 BC their leader decided to abandon his alliance with Babylon for weak Egypt. NO doubt God allowed this unbelievably stupid decision because Judah was inundated with evil. The message to America is return to being a Bible oriented nation.
WHAT IS THE WARNING MESSAGE TO BELIEVERS BEFORE THE END?
First of all, pray for our nation to repent and support biblical morality. End times prophecies show God rewarding churches that are in a godly, obedient spirit.
Revelation 3:8-11 NKJV 8 "I know your works....; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. 9 "Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie--indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. 10 "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. 11 "Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
True believers obey all of God's laws and have faith in Jesus the Messiah. God loves those that persevere and remain true to God and his standards even under an avalanche of worldly sinful influences. He loves them because they hold fast to the truth. God loves their obedience and trust in him. He also loves a repentant attitude.
Daniel 9:7-9 NKJV 7 "O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us shame of face, as it is this day-to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, those near and those far off in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of the unfaithfulness which they have committed against You. 8 "O Lord, to us belongs shame of face, to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, because we have sinned against You.
That repentant fast and prayer was helpful in God bringing Judah back from captivity. A somewhat similar process is prophesied for the end times.
Jeremiah 50:4-6 NKJV 4 "In those days and in that time," says the LORD, "The children of Israel shall come, They and the children of Judah together; With continual weeping they shall come, And seek the LORD their God..... Their shepherds have led them astray; ... They have forgotten their resting place.
This end time prophesy is about both houses of Israel returning to God repentantly at the second coming of Jesus. Wow!
Jeremiah 50:20 NKJV 20 In those days and in that time," says the LORD, "The iniquity of Israel shall be sought, but there shall be none; And the sins of Judah, but they shall not be found; For I will pardon those whom I preserve.
The people of God and America will then live in the grace of God. This is future wonderful news. One of the clear end times warnings is to avoid the global worldly, ungodly new religion of the returning to power, Holy Roman Empire.
Revelation 17:2-3 NKJV 2 "with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication." 3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
True believers must resist the overwhelming pressures to worship the beast and conform to the new religion and world order of that day.
Revelation 18:4 NKJV 4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.
We as individual believers need to come out of worldly Babylon now!
