WAR AND SUBSEQUENT FAMINE ARE SOON TO ARRIVE
The war in Europe has possibly introduced our relatively peaceful world to both possibly expanding war and future food shortages. President Biden himself has warned of food shortages coming soon. The world has not had a European war since 1945 almost eighty years. Could we be entering the first round of early cycles of war and famine? What does the word of God say about this topic?
Revelation 6:2-4 DBY 2 And I saw: and behold, a white horse, and he that sat upon it having a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering and that he might conquer. 3 And when it opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, Come and see.
The white horse is deception. The white color means the deception is disguised as goodness. Thanks to the internet and social media and the regular media the world is very deceived on many secular and spiritual topics. One such topic is now critical; the dangers of a spreading war in Ukraine. Western populations are now able to view the horrors of war in such a way as to make them vengeful. They are inching closer and closer to desiring a wider war with the world's largest nuclear power. False narratives dominate our media. We are in a post truth society.
Matthew 24:4 NKJV 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you.
The disciples had asked Jesus what are the signs of the end of the age and he gave the answer beware of deception. America now has an official department within a police agency to brainwash the public. It is the agency for misinformation! Unbelievable! A historical example is WWI when before the war, all the major European powers said they were too educated and wise to ever again go to a larger European War like the Thirty Years war or the Napoleonic Wars. They assumed that the problems in Eastern Europe would, at worst, result in a third small regional war. But caution did not prevail because they brainwashed themselves to not see the danger. They deceived themselves into believing that they were too enlightened. Within three to four months, all the major powers were sucked into a war which was the worst conflict in human history and also setup WWII. What else would occur based on the Bible?
Revelation6:4 And another, a red horse, went forth; and to him that sat upon it, to him it was given to take peace from the earth, and that they should slay one another; and there was given to him a great sword.
Revelation 6:5-6 NKJV 5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come and see." So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine."
War leads to famine. Unless events turn around suddenly we can assume that most of the grain and cooking oil crops of Ukraine will be depressed greatly. This will lead to food shortages. Food insecurity will hit the world in a few months. Are western leaders encouraging a quick negotiating settlement to the war? No they are demanding total victory over Russia. Does that remind us of WWII? The longer the war lasts the more Ukrainian cities will be destroyed and their people killed. Most frightening is the greater possibility of other nations with worldwide destructive weaponry being drawn little by little into this now just Eastern European war.
Revelation 6:7-8 NKJV 7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, "Come and see." 8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse.... to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.
Just as war leads to famine so do famine and war lead to death- the last of the four horsemen. Are we entering an early beginning of these cycles of the four horsemen of the apocalypse? Maybe! The Bible indicates that spirit beings are behind the four horsemen.
Zechariah 1:7-11 NKJV 7 ..., the word of the LORD came to Zechariah ...the prophet: 8 I saw by night, and behold, a man riding on a red horse, and it stood among the myrtle trees in the hollow; and behind him were horses: red, sorrel, and white. 9 Then I said, "My lord, what are these?"... "These are the ones whom the LORD has sent to walk to and fro throughout the earth." 11 So they answered ... and behold, all the earth is resting quietly."
The horsemen represent spiritual forces or messengers. This prophecy has good spirit beings giving a peace to the Persian Empire at the time. It is obvious that the spirit beings mentioned in Revelation are evil spirits working for Satan to bring war and death not peace.
SATAN LOVES TO SEE HUMAN BEINGS KILLING EACH OTHER
Satan loves to see mankind killing and starving each other in greater and greater numbers. This is all music to his ears. Are we saying Ukrainians should not be free? NO. They should at this point, get the best deal they can and because of their stalemating the Russians to this point, they should be able to get a better more reasonable deal. However some western leaders just want to destroy Russian leadership and the Russian military. This is the kind of thinking leads to a bigger war. If the West had stronger and better leadership this war would never had occurred some believe! One thing is certain and that is that Satan wants men to kill each other with ever more gruesome weaponry. War against civilians is one of the outcomes of the two world wars. It was called total war against total populations.
Revelation 6:8 NKJV 8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth to kill,,...
During the final period of this end of age madness, Satan working with the worse sides of human nature like vengeance and violence etc. will be allowed to kill over one fourth of the earth. If soon we reach 8 billion then that is over 2 billion dead. We do not believe we are anywhere near that point in Bible prophecy yet but this could be a start to cycles of war and subsequent revenge wars and famine. Satan loves all these events.
Ephesians 6:10-12 NKJV 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Spirit beings in high positions heavily influencing the nations of this world are to blame for much of the evil in the world. They know how to inflame mankinds' worse traits against us. God allows demons to put men of low character in high places as any study of history reveals.
Daniel 4:17 KJV 17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers,... to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
Note Daniel chapter ten that demons control the worldly empires. The Apostle Paul tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but with demons in high positions. We should not lash out against people. God tells us to learn to not hate our enemies or seek vengeance or retaliation. But the devil loves all such activities. Jesus teaches turn the other cheek where possible.
Matthew 5:42-46 NKJV 42 "Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away. 43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44 "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 "that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; .... 46 "For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
This is a high spiritual bar and clearly this age and society are far from it, but we cannot deny that if this attitude prevailed we would have a more wonderful and peaceful society. We are possibly in the early rounds of wars and famine not yet the second coming of Christ. We are just getting closer and closer to end of the age. Stay close to God for harder times are ahead for us!
