THE SEVENTH TRUMPET BLAST IS A SHOUT OF TOTAL VICTORY FOR CHRIST
Jesus will win in the end. The last Trumpet is the sound of victory. It is the sound of a new age of peace and goodness and for believers, entry into the very family of God. Wow! A pattern was set by Joshua, and will be used by Christ in His second coming to save mankind. The names Joshua and Jesus are the same names, Jesus is the word Joshua in the Greek language. God told Joshua to circle Jericho for seven days, and on the seventh day circle the city seven times more but be totally silent except for some trumpets blasting. Then unleash the last, long powerful Trumpet blast with everyone shouting.
Joshua 6:4-5 NKJV 4 "And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. 5 "It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him."
This is the beginning of the people of God entering the promised land. The last trumpet is soon coming when we will all enter the spiritual promised land. Events in this world are moving us closer to the final trumpet blast and paradise. Note the predicted pattern.
Revelation 11:15-19 NKJV 15 Then theseventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"...You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,... And should destroy those who destroy the earth." 19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple...
This pattern includes the shout and the sacred Ark of the Covenant which the priest carried with Joshua's army. Jesus' coming will also feature the real heavenly Ark of God. The pattern also includes the unnerving silence of the Israelites, before the last big blast of the Trumpet.
Revelation 8:1-2 NKJV 1 When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were givenseven trumpets.
The contrasting silence makes the Last, the Seventh Trump of God all the more powerful. Celebrating the Feast of Trumpets is celebrating the great victory of God. It is a shout for joy. Evil is crushed and righteousness reigns.
THE BIBLICAL HOLY DAYS ARE A GUIDE AS TO WHAT WILL COME
Therefore these days should be celebrated, embraced and defended. Paul tells this to gentiles living in a culture of extreme pagan philosophies, including asceticism. The apostles said do not let them drag you down with their philosophies or the criticism of your feasting and enjoying the Holy Days.
Colossians 2:8 NKJV 8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
Colossians 2:16-23 WNT 16 Therefore suffer no one to sit in judgement on you as to eating or drinking or with regard to a festival, a new moon or a sabbath. 17 These were a shadow of things that were soon to come, but the substance belongs to Christ...23 These rules have indeed an appearance of wisdom where self-imposed worship exists, and an affectation of humility and an ascetic severity...
God's festival the Feast of Trumpets celebrates the soon coming of Christ to save us all. Jesus' coming is not just to save us but to elevate us. We have a part in turning the world into a paradise. Wow!
Revelation 5:10 NKJV 10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."
What is coming at the last trump of God is mind blowing! Note what Paul tells us:
1 Corinthians 15:23 NKJV 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming.
1 Corinthians 15:51-52 NKJV 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-- 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the LAST TRUMPET. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Those of us called now in this age will be resurrected to glory as Paul describes it and at the last or seventh Trump of God. Therefore keep this feast day understanding what we are truly celebrating , the return of the Messiah in power and glory to change and cleanse this evil world.
1 Corinthians 15:54-55 NKJV 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." 55 "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?"
Trumpets is considered the beginning of the year and the time of the year when Adam was made, harvest time. This feast is on the new year and represents the presentation of our new life, and our Christ given victory over death. Wonderful!
ALL THE PLANET AWAITS OUR HEROES ARRIVAL AND TRUMPET BLAST
People all over the world know we need a hero to rescue this world. Satan will deceive most into picking the wrong man and his false worship in near future. But the world and the entire planet awaits our real hero Jesus. Also He is coming with His newly minted Sons of God.
Romans 8:18-22 NKJV 18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
What awaits believers is awesome, membership or adoption into God's own family. The glory we will receive cannot even be compared with whatever persecutions we might receive now.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility,...21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.
When Christ returns probably fairly soon, it will be an historic victory for goodness. Evil will be destroyed and the source of it locked away.
Revelation 19:1 TCNT 1 After this, I heard what seemed to be a great shout from a vast throng in Heaven, crying-- 'Hallelujah! To our God belong Salvation, and Glory, and Power,
The shout just like the pattern God gave Joshua as he conquered the promised land will occur in the near future. Jesus coming on a white horse is pictured then saving all mankind from evil. We should look forward to this seventh trumpet blast and this feast day will enable our celebration of Christ's second coming.
1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 NKJV 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven witha shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
This is the event we commemorate and celebrate on the Feast of Trumpets every year until the Messiah comes. Please do not let anyone talk you out of obeying God or keeping His Holy Days.
