A MAN WHO WEARS THE CROWN OF AN EVIL EMPIRE OF DECEPTION
A hero comes on a white horse to rescue those in need. But this rider on the white horse comes as a counterfeit hero. He brings with him evil, war, famine, and death. Wars are often preceded by a wicked leader with a lot of influence over the people to mobilize them to war – total war.
Revelation 6:1-2, “Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, ‘Come and see.’ 2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.” (NKJV)
Who is he conquering and in whose name is this rider about to conquer?
Revelation 13:11-12, “Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast…”
This rider, or second beast, looks lamb-like but actually is an agent of the dragon – woe! Worldly empires often used religion to control and manipulate the people. A Chief Pontiff was part of the original Roman Empire. The beastly leader will use the second beast – the false religious Chief Pontiff – to help him deceive and conquer many.
SOME SHOCKING EVENT COULD ELEVATE EVIL MEN TO POWER
Did you know that the NAZI party had only about 5% of the vote in Germany until the great depression of 1929? That event changed everything. Vast unemployment and poverty led many to look for a false Messiah. Germany was the hardest hit by the depression because of WWI economic penalties. Could Satan use this method again?
Daniel 4:16-17, “Let his heart be changed from that of a man, Let him be given the heart of a beast…In order that the living may know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, Gives it to whomever He will, And sets over it the lowest of men.”
Sometimes God will allow Satan to put into power the basest of men. A WORLD CRISIS WHICH UNDERMINES NORMAL LEADERSHIP could lead to the worst of men coming to power. They will use that power to manipulate and conquer the public's minds so they remain in power. Evil politicians never let a crisis go to waste (Machiavellian advice). They will brainwash the public using religion to conquer their carnal minds. Why will God allow base men to come to power? Because people do not love the truth?
2 Thessalonians 2:8-11, “And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie…”
Satan is the power behind the rider on the white horse that uses deception to conquer the public. God will allow this to ultimately teach mankind to love God and His truths. What tools would be available to aid this counterfeit hero in his conquest?
THE HIGH TECHNOLOGY EXISTS NOW TO CONQUER THE MINDS OF THE WORLD
Brain washing and inundating the people with very slanted media already exists. Add to that the potential enforcement factors of digital I.D. and digital currency controlled by a dictator who can reward and punish as needed in order to control the peoples' minds and spending.
Revelation 13:17, “…and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
A police state added to the avalanche of propaganda will reward those who obey and punish any resistors. Our new tech will surely be misused by evil men including A.I.
Revelation 13:12-16, “And he exercises all the authority of the first beast … 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men … telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast … 15 He was granted power … and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,”
The sign of the Two Beast victory will be everyone accepting the mark of the beast like obedient cattle labeled by their owners. The individual will be secondary to a focus on state worship, including the state leader. Using bio-metric markers and digital I.D., the authorities will enforce this evil deception. Probably only controlled digital currencies will be allowed. The prophet Daniel tells us that the anti-Christ kingdom will be:
Daniel 7:7, “…a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth … trampling the residue with its feet…”
However, at the end of this short period, we win! This victory by the real heroic rider on a white horse is forever and ever. The horse is likely iconic – Christ won't need it.
Revelation 19:11-12, “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. Hehad a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”
Verse 20, “Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.”
Goodness will prevail in the end and a thousand year paradise is coming!
Revelation 20:2-4, “He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.”
