REASONS WHY PAGANS SACRIFICED THEIR BABIES TO FALSE GODS
Just about all ancient cultures sacrificed innocent infants to false pagan gods for superstitious beliefs. These clearly are horrible deceptions of ancient mankind. The brutal reasons can be summarized with the acronym R.I.C.E.
RICHES: Material success and crops given by good weather from pagan false gods. Riches or poverty could hinge on one or two harvests and hunts, so fear was a factor.
INCONVENIENCE: If a child was unwanted due to being disabled, a girl, or just another mouth to feed, why not feed it to Molech for prosperity?
CRISIS: Whether it was an invading army threat or a natural disaster, babies were sacrificed to appeal to pagan gods to stop the crisis.
EVENTS: Significant cultural or religious events were promoted and marked by child sacrifices.
Surprisingly, these motives are used in the modern world to justify infanticide. The first two are obvious; people want nothing to interfere with making money. But what about number three? It would appear now that an entire political party in America and many in European politics believe that it is a crisis if women cannot kill their unwanted offspring. The world is in danger if abortion is limited, the planet will go into a crisis if women have too many babies, they assert. Eugenics and abortion will help avoid a planetary crisis, they believe. Kill the elderly and the fetuses to save the planet from a climate crisis based on over population. However, mankind cannot control the weather. It is arrogant to think such thoughts.
Jeremiah 1:4-5, “Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: 5 'Before I formed you in the wombI knew you; Before you were bornI sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.'” (NKJV)
God considers fetuses as human beings that should not be murdered for any reason including a false, earth-worshiping emergency. Paul was known and called while still in his mother’s womb!
Galatians 1:15-16, “But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, 16 to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles…”
John the Baptist and Jesus recognized each other while inside their mothers' wombs when both were still fetuses:
Luke 1:41-44, “And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, ‘Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43 But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.’”
Fetuses are not just tissue –– they are humans beings at their earliest stages of growth and should be protected by our laws as well as God’s. Further, God's Laws protected both the mother and her fetus in cases of an accidental harming of an unborn child. Note:
Exodus 21:22, “If men fight, and hurt a woman with child, so that she gives birth prematurely, yet no harm follows, he shall surely be punished accordingly as the woman's husband imposes on him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. 23 But if any harm follows, then you shall give life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,”
The law was designed to protect both mother and fetus proportionately to the harm done. Just damaging the fetus could result in some legal penalty. This is obviously important to God.
DOES OUR SOCIETY STILL USE HUMAN SACRIFICE TO MAKE EVENTS SPECIAL ?
The Democratic Party at their big national convention in Chicago in 2024 spiced up the event by using the holy grail of progressives –– abortion. They parked an abortion van out front and gave away free abortions and free abortion pills. They had people wearing abortion pill costumes celebrating the abortion pill and dancing. The Democrats used to say they supported abortion as being “rare, legal, and safe.” The party has since been captured by this form of child-sacrificial evil. God strongly condemns any form of child sacrifice.
Psalms 106:37-38, “They even sacrificed their sons And their daughters to demons, 38 And shed innocent blood, The blood of their sons and daughters, Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; And the land was polluted with blood.”
Jeremiah 7:31-33, “‘And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, nor did it come into My heart.
“32 ‘Therefore behold, the days are coming,’ says the LORD, ‘when it will no more be called Tophet, or the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter; for they will bury in Tophet until there is no room. 33 The corpses of this people will be food for the birds of the heaven and for the beasts of the earth. And no one will frighten them away.’”
God punished Israel severely for these sins. Pagans also abandoned babies to die if they were unwanted or handicapped. Abortion by neglect is still practiced by some on infants that survive the abortion process.
WHAT ABOUT THE EVENTS THAT CELEBRATE THE ABORTION PILL?
The history of the abortion pill is shocking, especially its connection to the holocaust. The fascists in Europe went back into what they called the “glorious” history of the Roman Empire to bring back some forms of human sacrifices.
Drawing upon Germanic legends, the Nazis constructed a mythology of Aryan superiority designed to unite and energize the German people behind them. They were naturally superior to others, they proclaimed.
Hitler's plan to maintain this purity included eliminating children with disabilities, starting in 1939. Six extermination centers were created inside hospitals for this ghastly task. Later, this evil was expanded to murder adults who were considered “lesser.” They carried out their first runs in Poznan, Poland on the mentally ill using a cyanide based pesticide called ZYCLON-B. At first they used mobile death vans. Then they expanded the program in 1940 to murder all the Jews and any others they disliked.
The leaders of the company that produced the gas for Hitler’s death chambers were convicted at Nuremberg for war crimes, but subsidiary IG Farben survived and is now producing RU-486, known today as mifepristone –– the abortion pill. Yet another chemical killing machine. IT HAS AND IS NOW KILLING MILLIONS MORE THAN DURING THE HOLOCAUST.
Psalms 139:13-16, “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. 14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.”
God blessed King David, even while he was being formed inside his mother. The overriding reason why abortion seems to live on even though ancient sacrifices are gone is this:
Ephesians 6:12-13, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
This culture of death is part of the birth of the progressive movement among scholars and elites in the West! Euthanasia, the killing of the elderly and unborn, began to grow in 1910’s and 20’s in the United States. Abortion comes from the same perverted progressive philosophy that intellectually supported euthanasia and genocide. Why? Because demons have deceived most of the elites in our western world.
