An Angry Christ is Coming Soon to Crush the Powerful Worldly Nations

JESUS, OUR HERO, IS COMING SOON TO CRUSH EVIL & BRING JUSTICE

Christ in His first coming to Earth was a kind of lamb or sacrifice for the sins of all mankind, starting with the Jewish nation. Jesus’ second coming will be different. He is coming soon to crush evil forces like grapes.

Revelation 19:13-15, "He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.” (NKJV)

Believe it or not, the world will declare war on the Son of God.

Revelation 17:13-14, “These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

This is a level of wickedness that is so audacious that it is hard to fathom. Imagine blaspheming God.

Revelation 16:9-11, “And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory. 10 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. 11 They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.

Much of the world will, in the future, have degenerated to such a level of wickedness and ungodliness. It is unbelievable, but it will come to pass. Note that someday the world will be so wicked that they will not repent, even in the face of the powerful truths delivered globally by the two witnesses. How degraded will mankind become at the end of this age of Satan?

2 Timothy 3:1-5, “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”

Now is the time to repent and follow the ways of the true God and reject worldly, false doctrines, paganism and all wickedness.

WHICH ONE OF GOD'S BIBLICAL HOLY DAYS CELEBRATES THIS CONQUEST?

The Last Trump will alert the world to the coming of the vengeful Messiah to crush evil and bring Godly justice to the world. This event is clearly celebrated by the Feast of Trumpets. The final trumpet of war will sound and we will celebrate while the world is angry and fearful. True believers will celebrate the coming of our Hero and the justice He will bring. These Holy Days were given not just to Judah but to all of Israel. They are described in the Bible as, “The Feasts of the LORD.” God calls them His Feast Days.

Leviticus 23:1-2, “And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 ‘Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: “The feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts.”’”

The Holy Days belong to God and not to any one of the twelve tribes. Before the book of Leviticus was written, before the sacrificial rules were given, God said that His annual Holy Days and the Sabbath are an IDENTIFYING SIGN between Him and his people.

Exodus 31:13, “Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: 'Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it isa sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you.’”

The Apostle Paul encourages the brethren by mentioning this last trumpet call will be a wonderful day for believers passed and present.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-16, “But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14…God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus… that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.”

These were very comforting words to the brethren who were under pressure from worldly evil.

1 Thessalonians 4:17-18, “Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

When we celebrate the Feast of Trumpets we are looking forward to a wonderful point in history when God’s justice will prevail and we will help bring order to an evil society. The Feast of Trumpets pictures the angry return of the Messiah. Note what Paul wrote:

1 Corinthians 15:51-54, “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed –– 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at thelast trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality…”

The Feast of Trumpets guides us in celebrating this wonderful moment of immortality for true believers. Very soon, all nations must also keep the Feast Tabernacles and likely all Fall Holy Days in the millennium, or face the wrath of God. See Zech. 14:16. Trumpets were used in the Bible as an alarm of war like a siren. Christ will return to battle and crush the Beast and force all mankind to live righteously by His laws. The last trump announcing the second coming of Christ is the most important event coming in mankind’s future. The Church of God celebrates it each year as commanded by God.

HOW SHALL WE REMAIN ALERT FOR THIS FATEFUL MOMENT FOR ALL

Without a doubt, keeping this feast helps remind us to stay faithful. Jesus alerted us to the likelihood of being lulled to sleep.

Matthew 24:48-51, “But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, 51 and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Avoid beliefs that lower our closeness or alertness to the second coming of Jesus. If you say to yourself, “His coming is so far into the future I can coast now and repent later,” you are falling into a spiritual trap.

1 Thessalonians 5:2-7, “For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.”

Events can happen suddenly, so never let yourselves be lulled to sleep. Remember that prophetic Biblical knowledge and the Feast of Trumpets can keep us spiritually awake and safe.
