WHO ARE THE CHOSEN PEOPLE OF GOD AND WHY ?
The Bible is one continuous book. It has themes and central messages from God to mankind. One of the messages is that God is working through the family of Abraham, the Israelite's.
Galatians 3:8, “And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, ‘In you all the nations shall be blessed.’” (NKJV)
Verse 29, “And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
God has chosen Israel as His people to work through. This includes the Jews of course, and any that convert to true Christianity become “spiritual Israelite’s” and are specially chosen.
Zechariah 2:8, “For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the [a]apple of His eye.”
Those who attack Israel are in ultimate danger for they are attacking the apple of God's eye. Replacement theology asserts the very opposite. That God not only is not working through His people but has abandoned them and the majority of His Holy Word, the Old Testament. God rewarded Abraham by blessing his progeny, of whom came Jesus of Nazareth. It is clear why the Devil who has deceived this world hates the Jews and other Israelite’s.
Revelation 12:9, “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world;”
God plans on doing wonderful things for all nations –– starting with Israel!
ISRAEL'S FULL CONVERSION WILL USHER IN PARADISE FOR ALL
The Messiah will return to Earth as a conquering king. He will begin His reign by rescuing Israel and Judah, headquartered in Jerusalem –– Zion.
Romans 11:11-12, “I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. 12 Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!”
The apostle Paul clearly states that when Israel comes into conversion it will be riches for all.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
Revelation 5:10, “And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”
Zephaniah 3:20, “‘At that time I will bring you back, Even at the time I gather you; For I will give you fame and praise Among all the peoples of the earth, When I return your captives before your eyes,’ Says the LORD.”
Physical Israel will be saved from harm at the second coming and spiritual Israel will reign with Christ and help Him create a millennial paradise. This prophetic news should comfort us! The Jewish nation shall repent of rejecting His first coming and then lead the world to prosperity and learning God's ways.
Zechariah 12: “…on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.”
Note a very shocking statement from God regarding the physical nation of Judah's future.
Zechariah 8:23, “Thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”’”
Canyou imagine cooperation between the Jews and their neighbors with the strong blessings of God? Imagine the economic prosperity? All the world will know the wisdom of the Bible ––Wow!
Isaiah 11:9, “They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea.”
When Jesus returns and from Zion, rules the world starting with His chosen people, one of the first pillars of that paradise will be total truth everywhere. Wow! No false propaganda allowed or false religions.
A WONDERFUL SET OF BLESSINGS WILL COME UPON ALL THE WORLD
Christ will bring unbelievable blessings and changes to this dangerous planet. He will reverse the curses that came upon this world when Adam was kicked out of the garden. Our world will be turned into a garden of Eden.
Isaiah 11:6-8, “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. 7 The cow and the bear shall graze; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 The nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole, And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper's den.”
Wonderful! The end of predators and parasites; nothing will hurt us again in nature!
Isaiah 35:1, “The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;”
Think of the vast deserts on this planet, blooming like a rose say the Sahara desert. It will be like several continents of FARM land added. Food and posterity will follow for all.
Isaiah 35:5-7, “Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. 6 Then the lame shall leap like a deer, And the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert. 7 The parched ground shall become a pool, And the thirsty land springs of water; In the habitation of jackals, where each lay, There shall be grass with reeds and rushes.”
The many handicaps that plague us will be healed. Note further a change of worship:
Zechariah 14:16-18, “And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King...and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King,..on them there will be no rain. 18 If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the LORD strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.”
All the world will want or be forced to follow God's ways and Holy Days to their benefit. A well fed, well informed, healthy world will enjoy paradise –– starting with the chosen of God from Jerusalem and radiating out to all nations.
